Promoting Sign Language and Education

The Andrew Foster AfriDeaf Foundation (AFADF) is a national charity established to support the education of African deaf children. The organization is dedicated to assisting African deaf children in overcoming sign language barriers by enabling them to communicate in sign language. AFADF does this by promoting deaf culture in African schools for the deaf and providing a wide range of services and educational programs for African deaf children and their parents. AFADF enables African deaf children to develop their communication and writing skills, build their self-esteem and provides parents with the confidence and knowledge necessary to make informed decisions on behalf of their deaf children.

The donations and support we receive help fund our services for African deaf children attending schools to learn sign language and improve their communication and writing skills. Contributing to the legacy of Dr. Andrew Foster will promote the education of African deaf children.
